Family owned and operated since
John F. Kennedy was President of the United States, Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous "I have a dream" speech, gas was $0.29/gallon and the Beatles were soaring to international stardom. The year was 1963. After working in management for Safeway Grocers for nearly a decade, Bob Downing opened his own grocery store in Beaver, OK. Fast forward 56 years, Bob is taking a break and his son, Craig Downing is at the helm. As a family owned and operated business, Downing's Market feels just like home.
